A hurricane by any other name would sound much sweeter...
Hurricane "Gustav"? Puleeez. We must really be running out of available names. Just for the record, I'm for going back to the impulsive, pre-PC times when weather forecasters named hurricanes after their wives and girlfriends.

What's wrong with "Gustav"?
ReplyDeletePerhaps we should go back to the earlier practice of naming storms after the Saint's day. This would perhaps also satisfy those to whom natural disasters are obvious signs of God's displeasure.
