The Undead Language: Latin making a comeback
Yesterday's New York Times, on the comeback Latin is making in the nation's schools.

I think that the teaching or learning of any language is a splendid thing. Latin is no exception.
ReplyDeleteA really daring step would be to offer people Esperanto, once described as "the Latin of democracy". The planned language Esperanto has been in use now for over a century. It offers instant communication between people of different mother tongues. Take a look at Esperanto on the World Wide Web for an indication of how widely it is being used.
