You are welcome to post at this blog. You are asked, however, to refrain from the following:

ReplyDeleteAre you capable of understanding that a pastor who tells people that the only solution to their problems is Jesus probably isn't someone an atheist would want to go to for marriage counseling? All you care about is trying to score points for your silly belief that not worshipping gods is the same thing as worshipping gods.

ReplyDeleteThis implies that it's morally wrong to worship God, or any god.
But we already established in earlier threads that you don't believe in moral absolutes.
So I guess it's silly to chide someone for being silly.

ReplyDeleteI didn't imply any such thing. I merely pointed out that claiming that the exact opposite of worshipping gods is the same thing as worshipping gods is silly. My point would be true even if it was morally wrong not to worship God, as you believe.
Well I have to agree that most chaplains in the military have become more willing to proselytize and try to convert you rather than help an atheist or agnostic soldier with a problem. When you want advice from someone and you aren't a religious person you don't want to hear what would jesus do or something similar.
