You are welcome to post at this blog. You are asked, however, to refrain from the following:
1. Name-calling;
2. Questioning the motives or integrity of people you have never met just because you disagree with them;
3. Using obscenities or other expressions not appropriate or necessary to civilized discussion;

I'm pretty sure this is why they started saying "gender" a decade or so ago instead of "sex." Sex is genetically determined, but gender... I mean, how does a human even have gender in the first place? Nouns do, of course, but...
ReplyDeleteI still scratch out Gender on forms and write Sex over it. Paper forms, anyway. Cranky people like me may be why everyone's switching to electronic.
