If U of L's basketball team had been, say, 19-18 last year instead of 31-6, would Rick Pitino still be the coach?

This is Kentucky, where basketball is the state religion. Whatever his moral failings, Pitino is undeniably a great basketball coach. It would take a lot more than one indiscretion, six years ago, to get him fired.
Geepers, Martin, yer acting like a Bostonian with this tirade. (Trust me, no one, NO ONE, detests Pitino more than a Celtics fan. If you don't bleed green, you just don't get it.)
Of course, the implicit cheering of extortion and blackmail that is hidden in your rants is interesting in a macabre sort of way.
Yes, of course I forgot that condemning someone for doing something bad logically implies a belief that you agree it is acceptable for someone to extort them for it.
